Early Intervention

The 20 th Judicial District Attorney, Samuel C. D’Aquilla, with a grant from The Office of Youth and Development, has introduced an Early Intervention Program in the East and West Feliciana Elementary School System this 2007/2008 school year.

This program works closely with the local elementary schools, principals, teachers, community members, court system, law enforcement and parents to help keep troubled children out of the criminal justice system through identifying those children at risk at an early age and taking steps to keep them from becoming offenders.
